DNS Tools - Complete Check

Run every DNS Tools check at once and get one combined report.

What the DNS Tools Complete Check Covers

The DNS complete check queries every common record type for the domain - A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, SOA, CAA and SRV - and adds the checks that go beyond a single lookup: DNSSEC status, record TTLs, and whether a recent change has reached major public resolvers.

When to Use It

Use it before and after changing hosting, email provider or nameservers. Comparing one full snapshot of the zone is much faster than running a dozen separate lookups, and it makes a missing MX or a stray CNAME easy to spot.

Reading the Results

Not every domain needs every record type - an IPv4-only site has no AAAA record, and most domains have no SRV records - so judge missing records against what the domain actually uses. Short TTLs are expected during a migration; longer TTLs are normal once DNS is stable.
