How do I find a website's IP address?

Enter the website's domain in the box above and click Look Up IP. The tool resolves the domain's A (IPv4) and AAAA (IPv6) DNS records and shows the server addresses together with their reverse DNS hostname. A site served through a CDN such as Cloudflare shows the CDN's addresses, not the address of the origin server behind it.

How to read the IP lookup result

Check the IPv4 addresses first - these are what most visitors connect to.
If IPv6 addresses are listed, the site is also reachable over IPv6.
Use the reverse DNS hostname to identify the hosting provider or CDN.
Several addresses usually mean load balancing or a CDN rather than a problem.

The IP address returned is whichever server currently answers for that domain right now - if the site sits behind a CDN or load balancer (common for larger websites), this will be the CDN's edge IP, not the origin server's real IP. Reverse DNS shows the hostname that IP address itself resolves back to, which is often the hosting provider's own naming scheme rather than your domain name - that's expected and not a misconfiguration.
