What is structured data?

Structured data is Schema.org markup - usually JSON-LD in a <script type="application/ld+json"> block - that describes a page's content (an article, product, FAQ, organisation, breadcrumb) in a machine-readable way. It can make a page eligible for rich results in Google. This checker finds the JSON-LD on a page.
